Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 6, 2026
Humanolab is a wellness app with an AI coach: it helps with how you eat, sleep and move, and suggests one small step a day. To do that we process personal information, including health information. This policy explains what we process, why, who we share it with and how to exercise your rights.
In short: your data is yours; we never sell it or use it for advertising; AI processing and analytics stay off until you turn them on; and you can export or delete everything from the app.
This English version is a translation; if there is any difference, the Spanish version prevails.
1. Who we are
- Controller: Sanisimo Inc, a Delaware corporation (United States), which develops and operates Humanolab.
- Address: 30 North Gould Street, Ste R, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA.
- Privacy and support email: hello@humanolab.ai.
2. Scope
This policy covers the Humanolab iPhone app, humanolab.ai (including the early-access list), the emails we send you and our support channels.
3. What we process
- Account: your email or Apple ID. With Sign in with Apple you can use Hide My Email; then we only receive an Apple relay address.
- Profile: name (optional), date of birth, sex, height, weight, goal weight, units, language, your goal and your onboarding answers.
- What you log: meals (photos or descriptions and the nutrition estimate), water, movement, sleep, weight, how you feel and symptoms, notes, your cycle if you choose to log it, and your medications and supplements with their reminders.
- Meal photos: sent to estimate the meal and not stored on our servers; we keep only the estimate.
- Voice notes: transcribed, and the audio is not stored; we keep only the text.
- Lab results you upload: the original PDF or photos are kept in private storage, together with the markers we extract.
- Conversations with your coach and your weekly summaries.
- Apple Health data, read only and only the types you allow: for example steps, activity and workouts, sleep, heart rate and HRV, VO₂ max, weight and body measurements, menstrual cycle and others. We keep daily summaries in your account to calculate your rings and trends.
- Usage analytics, only if you turn them on: app events (for example which screen you opened or that you saved a record), with no name, email or health value.
- Subscription: your plan and purchase status. Apple processes payments; we never see your card details.
- Website: if you join the list, your email, language and your answers to the sign-up questions.
You don't need a wearable or Apple Health to use Humanolab. Every data source is optional and you can disconnect it at any time.
4. How we use it
- To provide the service: calculate your daily score and your nutrition, sleep and movement rings, your biological age estimate, your trends and your plan.
- To answer your coach questions, estimate your meals, read your labs and transcribe your voice, only if you turned on AI processing.
- To send the reminders and weekly summary you turn on.
- To manage your subscription.
- To understand how the app is used and improve it, only if you turned on analytics.
- To keep things secure, fix errors, meet legal obligations and respond to your requests.
5. Apple Health
Humanolab only reads data from Apple Health; it never writes to Apple Health. Data from Apple Health is never used for advertising or marketing, never sold, and never shared with data brokers or third parties for those purposes. We do not store it in iCloud.
Apple Health data is only sent to the AI coach if, in addition to AI processing, you turn on the separate "Apple Health in Coach" option, which is off by default.
6. Artificial intelligence
AI processing is off by default. If you turn it on (in onboarding or in You → Privacy), we send OpenAI your coach messages and relevant records, your meal photos or descriptions, your labs and your voice notes, to generate answers, estimates and transcripts. We send a pseudonymous identifier, never your name or email.
OpenAI does not use this data to train its models. Under its business terms it may keep it for up to 30 days for abuse monitoring, then deletes it.
You can turn AI off at any time: new requests are blocked and you can keep logging manually. AI answers can be wrong and are not medical advice.
7. Who we share it with
Only with providers that help us run the service, under confidentiality and security agreements, and only for those purposes:
- Supabase: database, file storage, sign-in and server functions.
- OpenAI: coach answers, meal estimates, lab reading and voice transcription, only if you turn on AI (section 6).
- RevenueCat: subscription management and purchase receipts.
- PostHog: usage analytics, only if you turn them on. It may record a few screens (sign-in, onboarding and pricing) with all text, fields and images hidden.
- OneSignal: notifications and in-app messages.
- Resend: email delivery: sign-in codes, the weekly summary if you turn it on, and website emails.
- Apple: Sign in with Apple and payments.
- Open Food Facts: when you scan a barcode, the app looks up only that code.
- Vercel: website hosting.
- Authorities, when a law or court order requires it.
We never sell your data or use it for advertising.
8. International transfers
Our providers process data mainly in the United States. We make these transfers under agreements that require appropriate security and confidentiality safeguards, in line with your country's data protection law.
9. Retention and deletion
We keep your data while you have an account. You can delete it in the app at You → Privacy → Delete account, or by emailing us.
When you delete it we immediately erase your account and all your records, your lab files, your data at RevenueCat, PostHog and OneSignal, and we revoke Sign in with Apple. Encrypted database backups are overwritten within 30 days.
Deleting your account does not cancel your Apple subscription: cancel it in Settings → your name → Subscriptions.
You can also export all your data as a JSON file from You → Privacy.
10. Your rights
You can access, update, correct, export and delete your data, and withdraw your AI, Apple Health in Coach and analytics consents at any time from the app. For anything else, email hello@humanolab.ai from your account email. We reply within 15 business days.

12. Children
Humanolab is not intended for anyone under 18 and we don't knowingly collect their data. If you believe a minor has given us data, email us and we'll delete it.
